Nature and Expressive Therapy, a supportive space where you are met exactly where you are and gently guided toward where you want to be. This is a place for individuals, workers, parents, carers, and families who are feeling the pressure of balancing life’s many demands.

I am a registered counsellor, passionate about supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. I believe each person holds the key to their own resilience and healing.
Drawing on the grounding and restorative power of nature, I offer a compassionate person centred and strength based approach to support you in reconnecting, finding balance and moving forward with clarity and confidence.

Combining nature and expressive therapy creates a powerful synergy: nature directly inspires creative expression, while taking expressive practices outdoors enhances their grounding and calming effects. The sensory richness of the natural world deepens creative work, allowing for contextual healing as emotions are processed within a calming environment.

We work with the healing power of nature to create a calm, supportive space for those experiencing anxiety, depression, or emotional overwhelm. Through mindful connection with the natural world—its textures, sounds, scents, and rhythms—you are gently guided to slow down, tune inward, and reconnect with yourself.
Using natural materials gifted by the land, we invite creative expression as a way to explore and communicate feelings that may be difficult to put into words. This nature-based, expressive approach supports reflection, self-awareness, and emotional healing in a safe and grounding environment.

Stress Release Through Nature
Nature offers a gentle invitation to slow down. Using the natural environment as our guide, sessions are designed to help ease stress, quiet the mind, and restore balance. By tuning into the steady rhythms of the natural world—the movement of air, the grounding feel of the earth beneath your feet, and the soothing sounds around you—you are supported in stepping out of constant busyness and into a calmer state of being.
This approach supports individuals in releasing built-up tension, learning practical ways to manage stress, and creating intentional time for themselves. Through guided reflection, mindful awareness, and nature-based practices, you are encouraged to let go of what no longer serves you and reconnect with your own needs.
Sessions provide a safe, unhurried space to pause, breathe, and reset—helping you develop tools to carry a greater sense of calm and self-care into everyday life.

Supporting Families Through the Foster Journey
We offer compassionate support to families during the fostering process, with a particular focus on helping children understand and emotionally process the changes that come when a foster child joins the household. Children are supported to explore their feelings in a safe, nurturing way, helping them feel reassured, valued, and deeply loved throughout this stage.
Using gentle therapeutic approaches rooted in nature and expressive therapy, children are given space to slow down, reflect, and express thoughts or emotions that may be difficult to put into words. Time spent outdoors, along with creative activities using natural materials, helps children feel grounded and supported as they make sense of sharing their parents, home, and belongings.
This nurturing approach recognises the vital role children play in enabling families to foster. By helping them feel included, heard, and appreciated, we support the development of empathy, resilience, and emotional understanding—ensuring every child feels secure and proud of the important part they play in welcoming others into their family.
